Before You Visit
- Please check the daily update on the home page or call to find out what is available that day. Not every day is the same, and sometimes a crop is closed for ripening.
- Reservations for picking are not required. We are quite busy on sunny Saturdays. Picking on weekdays, evenings (open until 8pm in July & August), and cloudy days are a great way to beat the crowds.
- Entry to u-picking areas will be closed 30 minutes prior to the farmstand closing time. Plan to arrive early enough to go out and pick.
- You may bring your own containers from home to pick into. We offer sanitized buckets for you to borrow if you want them, and we have take-home containers available for sale if you do not have your own.
- Please leave your pets and emotional support animals at home. Animals are not allowed in the food crop fields pursuant to Department of Agriculture regulations. If you have a trained service dog, please speak with someone about where it will be allowed to accompany you.
- Our picnic area has a few tables that you may use. It is helpful to us if you would take your garbage home with you — thank you!
U-Picking Etiquette
- Please check in first at the tent, where we will welcome you and give picking information and directions to the fields.
- Wash your hands at one of our sinks before you pick.
- For health and food safety reasons, please don’t eat while picking, and be careful not to touch fruit that you will not pick.
- Children must stay with parents at all times.
- Please stay in the areas you are assigned or that are clearly designated as available for picking. Our staff is happy to answer questions.
- Please respect any “no picking” signs around our farm. We grow a wide variety of crops, many of which may not be ready for harvest or are not available for u-pick.
- Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the farm for reasons of fire prevention and in consideration of others.
- Please keep off farm equipment and do not enter barns or greenhouses.
- Flying of drones is not permitted.
Special Events
Please call us to plan field trips, birthday parties, or other events here at the farm. We want to be ready to welcome you, so events will need to be scheduled. Some events may incur a charge, and we can not accommodate all events. (Sorry, no weddings.)
